Led by six athletes finishing in the top 15 and all seven competitors in the top 25, Northern Arizona repeated as winner at the NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional with a 36-89 victory against Brigham Young at the Chaparral Ridge Cross Country Course at Lubbock Christian in Texas. Nico Young covered the 10-kilometer layout in 28:59.6 to secure second, Kang Nyoak placed fifth in 29:10.0, Drew Bosley (29:12.2) and Aaron Las Heras (29:12.5) were seventh and eighth, respectively, Brodey Hasty (29:22.0) and Santiago Prosser (29:24.3) achieved 14th and 15th, respectively, with Colin Sahlman achieving 22nd in 29:41.8 for the Lumberjacks, who won their ninth regional crown in program history and advanced to the Division 1 championship for the eighth consecutive year Nov. 18 at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia.
