With five scorers in the top 15, including champion Gracelyn Larkin, Northern Arizona won its first NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional women's team title in program history with a 39-59 victory against Brigham Young at the Chaparral Ridge Cross Country Course at Lubbock Christian in Texas. Larkin covered the 6-kilometer layout in 19:19.7, Ali Upshaw (19:44.3) and Ruby Smee (19:45.1) were sixth and seventh, respectively, Maggi Congdon took 10th in 19:47.4, Maisie Grice placed 15th in 19:55.2, Nikita Moore achieved 27th in 20:20.0 and Anna Fenske grabbed 39th in 20:38.9 for the Lumberjacks, who advanced to the Division 1 championship meet for the fifth consecutive year and 20th time overall in program history, seeking their first national title Nov. 18 at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia.
